Stock Cars and Science?
Maybe they don't roll off the tongue like 'Bert and Ernie' or 'peanut butter and jelly', but knowing and being able to use science is a pre-requisite to winning races. Although motorsports have gotten more and more complex, the basic science of racing is the same science most physics, chemistry and math teachers teach their students. This website is an attempt to collect some of the most interesting math, science and engineering in one place to help interested fans learn more, and to help teachers use examples from motorsports to get their students excited about science.
