A World in Motion (AWIM)

A World in Motion is a SAE Foundation curriculum that features engaging kit-based activities that link teachers, students and industry or university volunteers. Various kits cover grades 3-10 and address physical science standards (mostly force and motion, energy and electricity) at those grade levels. The kits are simple to use and focus on experimentation.

Project Lead The Way

Project Lead the Way inserts technology and engineering into traditional middle and high school curricula. They focus on engineering and biomedical engineering , with an emphasis on project-based learning and engineering design.

Understanding Car Crashes -- It's Basic Physics

This curricular material for grades 9-12, written by Griff Jones of the University of Florida, has experiments and worksheets, many of which are linked to a videotape available from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
